SALT’s Gallery December exhibition ‘Bounty of the Burnhams Through Glass’ is in association with local farmers and producers including Norfolk Saffron, Plumbe & Maufe Fruit Farm, Unthank Supper Club.
The exhibition explores a series glass and print works celebrating the Burnham landscape’s diverse crops and food economies, from saffron, grain, fruit, shell fish to samphire, and this unique and rich cultural currency which establishes a network of recurring imagery of shared substances, memories and histories within the region.
Bounty of the Burnhams Through Glass will also showcase Open Studio and Free Demonstrations giving the public an unique opportunity to view directly the glass-print work being created throughout December 2013.
Following SALT’s recent group sculpture exhibition ‘Space and Form’ exciting new sculpture will be exhibited at ‘Undersong‘ Belfry Arts Centre, Norfolk in October 2013!
