SALT glass studios are committed to protecting the privacy of visitors when on our website or when we communicate electronically.

Our website is checked daily by approved scanning vendors for security threats and our commitment is keeping your data safe. All personal information entered online will be treated securely and respectfully. We will not share your details with other individuals or companies unless required by law.

Information we collect  – We collect your personal information when you fill in our forms on our website, for example when you register for a newsletter or when you make a purchase. Also we collect information provided to us when you communicate with us electronically via email.

Use of Your Information  – If you are an existing customer and have agreed for us to do so, we may contact you with news about us and our goods. If you are a new customer, we will only contact you when you have provided consent to receive news about us and our products. Under no circumstances will we use your data for any other purpose.

Orders- Goods remain property of SALT glass studios until payment has been received in full. To process an order, we will need your name, billing and delivery address, telephone number and email address. We will use this information to process the order. If any questions should arise, will contact you about your Order. If we need to contact you, we will contact you via email first. If unsuccessful we will try to contact you by telephone.

Any information provided by you will be used for the purposes of processing your Orders only. To achieve this we reserve the right to provide your details to third parties that are involved in processing the Order or for delivering specific services to you (for example, the financial institution that issued its credit card or the courier that delivers the Order).

We will ensure that none of your personal information can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information. Your information will not be shared with individuals or other companies (such as direct mail organisations or other third parties) unless required by law.

Payment with PayPal – SALT glass studios use Paypal which is a secure way to shop online. Payment for goods can be made with credit, debit card, or your personal Paypal account. Paypal will charge your credit card as soon as you place an order. Only Paypal collect data of the online payment, SALT glass studios will not be able to see any credit card information at any time. The complete payment process will be undertaken by Paypal UK. In the case of possible returns, the amount paid will be refunded. Should your credit or debit card have insufficient credit, we reserve the right to invoice you for the costs incurred in making requests for payment.

Payment with BACS – If you don’t wish to use Paypal, you can order by BACS by using SALT glass bank details which are provided on the website or emailed with and invoice when you chose this option. Banking online is therefore processed securing by your bank and SALT glass studios will not be able to see any credit card information at any time in this transaction other than a record of your payment into our bank account.

Payment with Worldpay Merchant Services SALT glass studios accept order payments by Worldpay Merchant Services the UK’s Leading secure Payment Provider‎. Payments by phone or in person in our gallery are made by a WorldPay Chip and Pin machine which is compliant for our customers and our security. This platform is a secure platform and GDPR compliant and secure PCI DSS compliant through SaferPayments programme. We transmit data to WorldPay only for the purposes of processing any card payment related to your order. Your card details will be stored and processed by WorldPay. SALT glass studios will not store your card details. In line with standard payment card industry procedures. WorldPay provides SALT glass studios with the last 4 digits and the expiry date of the payment card but not the full card number, name on the card or CVC number. Payments by Cheque – Please contact us to arrange payments by cheque. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for loss. Please email us if you have any questions or if you wish to use any other payment.

Newsletters – If you have requested to receive our newsletter, this will be delivered to the email address you give us. We send newsletters approximately once per week with information on products, courses, discounts and news about the glass community. We may also occasionally send specific offers we believe may be of interest to you based on your interaction with our website (for example a discount offer on a product you have viewed on our website). These will be for our products. We will not share your details with other individuals or companies unless required by law. If you wish to be removed from our database please request this via our ‘Contact Us’ page. If you no longer wish to be on our mailing list then you can unsubscribe very easily using the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of our newsletter emails and we will remove you from the list.

Cookies – Cookies are small bits of text used by a browser to store information on our computer hard drive. Each cookie can only be read by the web server that originally issued it. Cookies cannot profile your system or collect information from your hard drive.
