SALT glass offer families the unique experience of creating themselves a glass paperweight using cremated ash as a perfect way to remember a loved one or pet.
Our glassmakers teach families how to mix a small amount of cremated ash with a chosen colour glass to make a wonderful glass paperweight as a lasting memory.

To order purchase online and just emails us is to book a course.
Once courses are booked families bring human and animal ash in a clean plastic bag to the studio. We require approx a teaspoon full of ash for each paperweight. Please email SALT for further information.
Course –After a demo, it takes approximate 20 minutes per person to make a paperweight. Students learn how to work with solid glass piece and chose two colours to mix with their love ones’ ash and manipulate the glass using tools under the experienced tutor. No experience required. Suitable for ages five years and above, individuals, family or groups. Children must be accompanied by adult.
Booking – Please email with the order number to book. Booking is subject to availability and may alter. Glass work can be collected the following day or once cooled down. Alternatively P&P can be arranged.
