Sand Casting Course with Norfolk Deaf Children’s Society  

SALT had another great weekend of hot glass sand casting with local residence, visitors and organisations including Norfolk Deaf Children’s Society  http://www.norfolkdcs.co.uk. SALT received good comments from students attending the sand casting courses:

SALT’s popular Festive Bauble Course is enjoyed by all students attending with great comments:

Festive Glass Making – Christmas Open Studio

Hot Glass Blowing & Casting Short Courses & Demonstrations

Visit SALT glass studios for a unique introduction into the ancient art of glassmaking and buy or make a unique contemporary glass gift!

SALT’s exciting Autumn/Winter program throughout the Christmas and the New Year season starts with hot blown and cast glass demonstrations, workshops and short courses as a great way for visitors to discover SALT’s new range of glass works as gifts and students to create a unique glass pieces!

All courses are for beginners looking for an introduction to glassmaking techniques or practitioners refining existing skills under the tutition of the experienced glass artist Max Lamb (RCA).

SALT’s program for 2013 will include short courses, master classes and intensive a weekend program in printing-making onto glass, kiln and slumping glass, blowing and casting.

Free admission, parking and glassmaking demonstrations.
